Film Scanners and Digitizers
-
Waygate Technologies FS50 and FS50B Digital Film Scanners and Digitizers are designed to provide high-end performance in film digitizing, offering superior quality at high throughput. The steel housing gives the robustness needed for the industrial environment of NDT applications. All standard film formats can be digitized, up to a width of 14 inches (35 cm), without length limitation in any resolution between 50 µm and 500 µm.
The FS50B is the first and only industrial film digitizer on the market that can handle the full density range (D = 0 up to 4.70 D) in one working range with the requested contrast sensitivity. This makes the scanner meet the requirements for class DS film digitizers, according to EN 14096 part 2. This classification has been evaluated and confirmed by BAM, the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing.

CRx Vision Scanner
-
CRxVision is the high-resolution weld inspection and all-purpose computed radiography scanner from Waygate Technologies, formerly known as GE Inspection Technologies. Packed with innovative features to increase throughput, extend plate life and provide excellent image quality, the CRxVision is designed specifically for the inspection of welds. The scanner is developed to cover the stringent ISO 17636-2 Class A and B requirements, as well as ASTM, ASME and EN weld standards. Because of its versatility, it can also be used for many other applications across the NDT industry.

CRx Flex Scanner
-
The CRxFlex Computed Radiography Scanner is designed specifically for applications in non-destructive testing (NDT) for use with isotopes and X-ray sources.
The CRxFlex™ is a multipurpose workhorse for a wide range of applications. Designed specifically for non-destructive testing (NDT), it delivers better efficiency, performance, throughput, and image quality than any other system in today’s NDT market. All of this at a lower radiation dose requirement for both isotope and X-ray imaging.
Due to high read-out efficiency, this field-proven scanner boasts shorter exposure times, excellent image quality, improved signal to noise ratio (SNR), and basic spatial resolution (SRb). Upgraded core technology offers a variety of scan resolutions from 25 microns to 200 microns, covering all NDT application segments. This results in extremely high throughput for oil and gas applications like CUI, ISI, and erosion/corrosion inspections, while also providing the highest image quality in order to cover the most stringent weld standards.
Like all available Waygate CR scanners, the CRxFlex solution is DICONDE-compliant for image acquisition, analysis, communication and data management.

CR Cassettes
-
CR cassettes designed for NDT applications.
Waygate Technologies, formerly known as GE Inspection Technologies, cassettes are specifically designed for NDT applications. Our CR cassettes are lightweight and very simple to use. Synthetic material provides maximum rigidity for overall durability. The higher radiation energies used in industrial X-ray makes the use of standard medical cassettes impossible. Hence, the cassettes can be supplied with built-in, front copper (Cu) screens of 200μm (0.008”) and are always copper-backed with 200μm (0.008”) to ensure optimal backscatter protection resulting in optimal image quality.

Phosphor Imaging Plates
Exclusively designed for industrial use, the standard IPS and IPC2 and the latest high performance IPU phosphor imaging plates from Waygate Technologies deliver superior image quality, exposure speed and enhanced life. The combination of a wide dynamic range and exposure latitude results in substantial reduction of downtime and greater throughput.
All plates are the latest high-tech components of Waygate’s computed radiography systems for industrial applications. The new imaging plate technology in combination with our scanners, received BAM certification and are accepted by the quality control regimes of a number of leading global companies in aerospace, oil and gas and power generation, meeting applicable ASME, ASTM and EN standards, classified IP Class 1 / Special

Rhythm Radiography Software Suite
Image Aquisition, Review and Data Management Tool
Rhythm Radiography Software suite combines image acquisition, review and data management tools for advanced industrial inspection methods. Today, there are no areas of industry and commerce which remain untouched by the digital revolution. This is especially true of the NDT field, where developments in automated Ultrasonics, Remote Visual Inspection and Radiography have been made possible only by significant advances in digital technology. These have allowed advances in the ways that inspection data is shared, analyzed, reported, and stored.
To date, collection, display, and processing of digital data has been carried out by a wide range of proprietary systems, using various, often also proprietary, protocols. This has meant that information sharing between different systems has not been possible, which, in turn, has led users to worry about the longevity and integrity of their collected data. With the introduction of the Rhythm industrial radiography software platform, the enormous benefits offered by the digital evolution can now be realized in full. Rhythm uses off-the-shelf hardware, an industry-standard data communication protocol to ensure that inspection data can now be acquired, reported, analyzed, stored, and shared, on a stable platform of scalable architecture, which will allow users to assimilate future NDT software capabilities with no danger of the information becoming obsolete.

Rhythm Enterprise Archive
Data Management and Storage Tool
Rhythm Archive is an extremely efficient data management and storage solution, which allows ready and easy access to large volumes of inspection information. More than 300 million images can be stored at a central location, in the industry standard: a DICONDE-compliant format. It accepts images from remote workstations and stores these using various compression techniques to save storage space without sacrificing image quality.
Input and retrieval of information is quick and easy, as a simple DICONDE tagging system, and eliminates the need for the complex image file naming conventions often associated with high volume information storage. Furthermore, Rhythm Archive not only stores the raw inspection data but also any enhancements made during analysis at the Rhythm Workstation, never altering the original raw data.
